CLASH OF CLANS - THE NEVER ENDING STORY

A YouTube video series where the story is constantly guided by the Clash of Clans community. Fans share their ideas for how the next installment will continue through social channels. I was tasked with creating PT3 of this series. I had to concept an interesting narrative that the fans would engage with. I did this by going straight to the source and used comments from the community to inspire the next iteration of the story. I then communicated the idea with the production team to bring it to life and worked very closely with the illustrator, animator and sound designer. This was especially important as we had strict guidelines to keep within the game's visual identity and game lore.

The video quickly hit over 500K views! Both the community and I am eager to see how the story develops!

CLASH OF CLANS - GUESS THAT SONG!

A fun YouTube Short video series where we invited the community to play a mini game with us. Fans had to guess the song from the series of icons i created from the Clash of Clans game. The only thing left to do was read the comments that came flooding in!

The video has racked up 117K views in its first 5 days, but the real success was conversations it created within the community!

CLASH OF CLANS & CLASH ROYALE ILLUSTRATIONS

To keep up engagement with the community for both games, every month I created a series of exciting illustrations that would keep the game feeling fresh. Each month I would create a different story or theme. Illustrations would then be created and posted on Social Media at varies times throughout the month to encourage regular engagment. Often, these stories/themes would also feature in game via maps skins and in game purchases.

CLASH ROYALE TIKTOK

As a proactive piece of work to increase engagement of Clash Royale with a younger target audience, I created a funny TikTok video using well known characters from the game, ‘The Log’. This character is often overlooked because of its simple and less glamourous nature when compared to others, but its effect is very powerful.  
 
The idea of telling the story of why ‘The Log’ does what it does was eagerly bought by the client along with several others. We excitedly put it into production, but sadly shortly after it was all put on hold due to budget reallocation within the client team. Hopefully one day the fans will get to see this little gem!
